Wyre Housing Association manages 3,500 properties in Poulton-le-Fylde, Fleetwood and surrounding rural areas. Herbert T Forrest Ltd has been associated with this client for more than 10 years and has undertaken environmental works, window and door renewal, re-roofing, kitchen and bathroom refurbishment schemes.
Over the years most of our work for this client has been secured through competitive tender. However, more recently Wyre has embarked on a programme to refurbish kitchens and bathrooms throughout their housing stock and Herbert T Forrest was chosen as one of their construction partners. Our company offers a complete service including, tenant consultations, kitchen design, installation and quality control. The value of the contract is currently approximately £1 million per annum but it is anticipated that this figure will increase to £2 million from April 2005.
The partnership is now in its third year and operating very successfully, achieving very high levels of customer and client satisfaction with the service and product.
